Architectural Renderings of Interior Designs

Archiform 3Ds interior scene Architectural Renderings and Virtual Tours are of superb quality and detail. Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples. Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

This combination may actually give better interior visualizations than real scenes as we are not restricted to the limitations of ordinary photography. Unique to Archiform 3D is our ability to do walk-through animations to the same Photo-Perfect standard as our still Architectural Renderings.

Apartment and Condominium Architectural Renderings and Animations

Today almost all condo and apartment developments are displayed in 3D. This is because the same budget reaches so many buyers of the same or similar product. Usually we only create a handful units to portray most of the product available. We also offer volume discounts for these projects as it is rare that each apartment will be so different from the next that we have to recreate all of the furniture each time. Considering that we include so many still Architectural Renderings in our prices you will also find that you get plenty of images for brochures and web sites from just a few scenes.

Architectural Renderings of Living Room Scenes

Of all interior apartment or house scenes, it is the living rooms, such as the lounge, grand salon and family rooms, that take up the most time. They are the focus of every day living and contain more varied elements than other rooms. There are so many possibilities within these rooms so they are often the hardest for a designer to explain and detail in a brief.

The nature of the furniture within these rooms makes them difficult to model in 3D. The detailed free-flowing curves and fabrics of some furniture pieces, such as sofas, can be surprisingly difficult to model perfectly in 3D. And items such as light fittings and window treatments can also be extremely time consuming.

3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity. This can be found in the frequent need for free-hand creativity to warm a scene’s mood or style. Small and large details such as vases, books, window treatments and personal items make a scene look more like a home.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This Architectural Rendering has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

The reduced location and photography costs make simple 2D backgrounds appealing for still Architectural Renderings. The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
